Camila Cabello habla sobre sus luchas contra la ansiedad

Camila Cabello habló abiertamente en un reciente publicación sobre sus problemas de salud mental. “En general, era increíblemente nervioso y socialmente ansiosa cuando era pequeño, y la gente siempre se muestra incrédula cuando les digo eso», escribió la cantante de «Señorita» en una de sus dos publicaciones de Instagram. La cantante de 22 años señaló que ha aprendido a vivir con dos versiones de sí misma: la «pequeña Camila que está aterrorizada por lo desconocido» y la otra Camila que «sabe lo que quiere de la vida».

«A veces tengo que dejar que la pequeña Camila haga el espectáculo mientras pasa el tiempo». Luego de sus confesiones, la estrella del pop aconsejó a sus seguidores sobre cómo lidiar contra luchas la ansiedad y la depresión: «si no has sido muy valiente, ni muy social, ni salvaje, ni un buscador de aventuras, si te describes como lo contrario a esas cosas… tienes que darte cuenta que no es así, siempre puedes ser diferente».

«Siempre debes conseguir la fuerza…»

Cabello también admitió que a veces suele sentirse «un poco ansiosa», pero logra controlar su estado cuando piensa que está construyendo recuerdos insustituibles. «Siempre debes conseguir la fuerza para hacer lo que temes, ve y consigue lo que quieras, conviértete en quién quieras ser, porque lo vales», continuó diciendo. «Tú vales la pelea. Eres lo más valioso que hay». En los comentarios, los fanáticos y otras celebridades elogiaron a Cabello, incluida la cantante Zara Larsson, que escribió «Hermosas palabras».

I remember growing up hearing stories of the singers I loved, all the stories sounded the same, kids who would grow up performing for their families and putting on talent shows for their parents when they were little who grew up to be dazzling to me. I was the opposite, I never ever sang in front of my parents or friends and would get flustered when they would ask me to, I sang in my room when my parents left for Walmart and cried when one day I saw them filming me through the crack of the door, I got teary eyed when people sang happy birthday to me because people looking at me actually made me overwhelmed. I was generally incredibly nervous and socially anxious when I was little; and people always have this look of disbelief when I tell them that. I did an interview the other day where I got it again, the interviewer said something along the lines of “So… how’d you end up here?” The answer is, I feel like my whole life there’s been two Camila’s in me. There’s little Camila that is terrified of the unknown, is aware of all the ways everything can go wrong, (actually can picture them vividly lol), and thinks it’s safer to stay home than to play ball. Then there’s the other Camila. And she knows what she wants out of life, is aware of how little time I have to let little Camila run the show while time passes by, and grabs young me by the hand and forces her out the door saying “Let’s go. You’ll survive, and I’m not gonna miss out on this. Let’s go.” And that is literally how I can sum up how I’ve gotten to this point in my life. En en su más reciente video musical de «Find U Again», su nuevo tema en colaboración con Mark Ronson, la estrella del pop de 22 años de edad pareció divertirse cambiando el color de su cabello a un rubio platino. Con un nuevo peinado de cabello, largo hasta los hombros y con flequillo, la cantante mostró un dramático cambio de imagen. No es de extrañar que Cabello haya escogido una nota tan alta para su nueva imagen, ya que la historia en el video se centra en un personaje que huye de un grupo de cazarrecompensas.

Un impresionante cambio de imagen

Sin embargo, tal y cómo los fanáticos pudieron ver al final del video, el estilo gélido que lució la estrella solo fue el resultado de una peluca creada para Cabello por el estilista Dimitri Giannetos. Aún así, parece que los seguidores de la cantante de «Señorita» quedaron encantados con el nuevo cambio de imagen. «Deberías ser rubia más a menudo», comentó un seguidor sobre el Cabello, mientras que otro usuario agregó: «Mi cerebro simplemente estalló por este nuevo aspecto».

The essence of me is the same, but i’ve changed so much as a person. You choose who you’re going to be. Force yourself to do what you’re afraid of, always- and go after what you want and who you want to be, because you’re worth that. You’re worth the fight. It’s the most worthwhile one there is. Cabello no solo ha impresionado a su público con un increíble cambio de look, también causó expectativas por su cercana relación con el cantante canadiense Shawn Mendes. Recientemente la pareja fue vista celebrando juntos con una serie de atuendos perfectamente coordinados, alimentando los rumores de una supuesta relación amorosa.
