¡Se casó la princesa Beatriz! Estos fueron los detalles de su celebración

¡La princesa Beatriz finalmente se ha casado! La hija del príncipe Andrés y Sarah «Fergie» Ferguson celebró su casamiento con Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi en una ceremonia sorpresa realizada en el palacio de Windsor, Inglaterra, el viernes por la mañana, según confirmaron las fuentes del Palacio de Buckingham a través de ET.

«La ceremonia de boda privada de la princesa Beatriz y el señor Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi tuvo lugar a las 11 de la mañana del viernes 17 de julio en la Capilla Real de Todos los Santos en Royal Lodge, Windsor», dice el comunicado emitido por el Palacio. «La pequeña ceremonia contó con la presencia de la Reina Isabel II, el duque de Edimburgo y su familia cercana. La boda se llevó a cabo de acuerdo con todas las directrices gubernamentales pertinentes».

Una nueva celebración

Según varios reporteros reales, la pareja planea compartir una foto oficial durante el fin de semana para no eclipsar la ceremonia de imposición de título de caballero del capitán Sir Thomas Moore, quien tendrá una audiencia con la reina para recibir su título de caballero a la edad de 100 años.

As expected, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have officially canceled their wedding. A spokesperson told People Magazine: “There are no plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding. They aren't even thinking about their wedding at this time. There will come a time to rearrange, but that's not yet.” At least now we know the reports the couple are planning a bigger wedding were false. I wasn’t sure what to believe but glad we now have some official word. Due to coronavirus concerns, “the invitations were never actually sent out.” The couple were set to marry on the 29th May at The Chapel Royal in St James Palace. They opted for a more low key wedding as they aren’t senior members of the royal family so naturally they have more freedom. The Church of England has said the number of people attending church weddings during the outbreak should be limited to the legal minimum of five – the priest, the bride and groom and two witnesses.  As said in the statement, the couple aren’t even thinking about their wedding at this time. For now we should all focus on keeping safe and staying home. There will come a time when the couple marry but for now I’m looking forward to continuing to cover Princess Beatrice and her journey to eventually walking down the aisle of The Chapel Royal ????????

Beatrice y Edoardo originalmente planeaban casarse el 29 de mayo en el Palacio de St. James en Londres, pero debido a la pandemia de coronavirus, la pareja pospuso sus nupcias. Windsor tiene un significado especial en la familia de la princesa Beatriz ya que su hermana menor, la princesa Eugenia, se casó en la Capilla de San Jorge en el Castillo de Windsor en 2018 con su esposo, Jack Brooksbank. También es donde el príncipe Harry y Meghan Markle se casaron ese mismo año.
